The McCracken Basketball Camp offers five different programs for the individual player, as well as team camps. The comments we have received from coaches, players, and parents have shown us how much these camps have helped our campers.

• Complete Skills Camp

For Players 8 to 18 years old

- Our 47-year program of detailed instruction in all phases of basketball for players of all skill levels
- Age/skill appropriate individual and group drills
- Contests
- League games and scrimmages

• Shooting Camp

For Players 10 to 18 years old

- Detailed instruction in the proper technique of all shots
- Confidence-building drills and methods
- Work in small groups
- League games
- Each camper will receive a written evaluation and have shot video-taped and critiqued

• Gold Camp

For Players in the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th Grade (Fall 2009)

- For the advanced high school player

For Players 10 to 18 years old

For Boys & Girls Players 7 to 14 years old

• Weekend Player/Parent Camp

Every summer we hear from parents who say that camp looks like great fun, and why don't we have a camp for parents. We have done something about it -- we now offer a two-day, one night weekend camp for parents and children. It has been fun and exciting for both the players and their parents, and we look forward to doing it again this summer. The camp is for children ages four through eight years and either one or both parents.

The program will include an introduction to the basics of basketball, with practice tips, contests, and games designed to give the young "hoopster" an enjoyable and rewarding experience. The adults attending will take part in the program with their children, learning ways to make basketball fun and how to gain a feeling of success and accomplishment through athletics.

The players and parents will stay together in the college dormitory and eat all meals in the college cafeteria. In addition, an Olympic size pool and other college recreational facilities will be available. Come prepared for an informative and FUN weekend.

The McCracken Basketball Camp has long been recognized as one of the nation’s best individual, instructional camps. We also offer a variety of TEAM CAMPS which use the philosophy we have developed over the years to help the athletes, coaches and teams have the best camp experience possible. The improvement that has been shown by each team has been impressive, and the camp has received many positive comments from coaches and players.
