This camp blew all others out of the water.

July 21, 2017: My son has been to a variety of different sport camps and he said "This camp blew all the others out of the water." He loved the hard work, the drills, the breaks, and everything about the camp. The only negative things he said was "the wait time for food and for the showers were bad if you slacked off at all." That's just life and I'm glad he now understands why we always say "Hurry up!" haha Our camp highlights: 1. All types of drills for all players, not just for one position. 2. The boys had responsibilities without their parents holding their hand the whole time.3. The meaning of true "team" effort was put forth on different levels4. Friendliness & support of the staff. I cannot thank the staff enough for making this experience great and the competition between players even better.

My son learned new techniques on his foul shot.

July 21, 2017: My son learned new techniques on his foul shot shooting and literally came home and started practicing that evening when he got home. My one suggestion is to have air conditioning in the dorms but I know that is not necessarily an option in all situations.

    My daughter's second year attending!

August 2, 2017: My daughter had a great time - this is her 2nd year attending! From the friendships made...to the hard work on the court...she enjoyed all aspects of camp! There are so many benefits from McCracken basketball camp! My daughter was pushed, challenged and expected to be on her game at all times - which is what I would expect from a camp. The skills that she developed and worked on will definitely help her with her game this winter. Thanks so much! Great experience!

Praise for the camp cafeteria staff!

August 2, 2017: I have to say as a parent of a little girl just diagnosed with celiac disease, your camp cafeteria staff needs to be greatly praised for going above and beyond making sure my daughter was well taken care of and protected from any gluten in her foods!!! My daughter told me of many times they went out of their way to take care of her. Thank you!!! Please let them all know we say thank you!!

    Great competition for my daughter.

August 28, 2017: As a dad, I liked that my daughter was placed with older girls. It did make it more difficult for her to compete for ribbons though but hopefully next year she will be ready for it!

    I learned so much

I learned so much about basketball during my week at camp -- and also some things about teamwork. I probably could not have made it completely through Defense Day and Stations without the coaches and the team that I was with.
