McCracken Camps is beginning its 62nd year of operation! In that time over 133,000 players have attended. McCracken Camps is known as a teaching camp, offering instruction for the most advanced high school player to the younger player who is just learning the game.     Camp Director Todd German

    Coach German has been involved with The McCracken Basketball Camp for over 40 years - as a camper, counselor, Assistant Camp Director, and now as Camp Director. German was a standout high school and college athlete from Bronson, MI. He played basketball at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Manchester College; he was the leading scorer, rebounder, and MVP at. German received his master's degree from Western Michigan University.

    Coach Annie Eggleston

    Coach Annie Eggleston has been coaching with McCracken Basketball Camps for over 20 years. She has been coaching at the high school level in both Indiana and Michigan. Prior to coaching, Coach Eggleston played at Olivet College.

    Staff McCracken Basketball Camps

    Trained counselors will work with the campers along with the director and assistant director, and will supervise all camp activities.

Camp Details

June 24-27, 2024

CHECK-IN/OUT: Check-in takes place on the first day of camp from 1pm to 2pm. Check-out takes place on the last day of camp at 4:30pm with an awards presentation which begins at 3:30 pm. Parents invited to attend awards presentation.

OVERNIGHT CAMPERS:

Campers will reside in the dorms on campus and are assigned by age and roommate requests. If you have a roommate request, and have not already given it to us, please do so as soon as possible. Roommate requests are not guaranteed, if you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new! All meals will be served in the school cafeteria.

Room Keys: Available upon request at check-in time for a $20.00 deposit. This deposit is totally refundable if the key is returned at check-out time. The deposit is forfeited if the key is lost.

EXTENDED DAY CAMPERS:

Day campers will register at the same time as the regular campers and remain for the rest of the first day. Each day thereafter the camper arrives after breakfast and stays until 9:45pm, with lunch and dinner provided.

HEALTH & RELEASE FORMS

All registered campers are required to have a parent or legal guardian fill out US Sports Camps’ mandatory Health & Release Forms online before arrival at camp. This camp does NOT require a doctor's signature on the forms.

INFORMATION PACKET

A detailed Information Packet containing check-in location and address, on-site staff contact information, a checklist of things to bring, site-specific forms, and more will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp.

Ripon College is 80 miles northwest of Milwaukee, 70 miles southwest of Green Bay, located in Ripon, WI . Basketball instruction and play will take place in the Willmore Center and Weiske Memorial Gymnasium. Built in 1967, and fully renovated in 2017, the "Doc" Weiske '50 Memorial Gymnasium sits inside Willmore Center and houses Bob Gillespie Court where Ripon's men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball team plays. Red Hawk nation can be seen cheering their teams on in this 1,200-seat gymnasium that has seen a total of 17 conference championships.
