US Sports Camps Announces McCracken Basketball Camps Summer 2020 Schedule
US Sports Camps, the largest provider of sports camps in the world, has announced the McCracken Basketball Camps lineup for the summer of 2020. Directed and coordinated by Todd German who has 40 plus years of coaching experience, McCracken Basketball Camps will be at nine different locations throughout Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin with both day and overnight options.
The McCracken Camps aim to not only help young athletes with their basketball skills but also to instill life-long lessons like the importance of respecting your teammates and coaches. The mother of one camper explains, “This was my son’s, Jake, first time at McCracken Basketball Camp and he had many wonderful experiences and stories to share with us! He told us about all the drills, league games, and challenging competitions. Jake says his skills improved a lot plus the coaches talked about the importance of being a good team member, taking care of each other, and respecting those around you. He hopes to attend camp again next year, thank you so much for all that you do.”
Founded in 1963, McCracken Camps is dedicated to teaching boys and girls, ages 7-18, the skills necessary to be successful in basketball. The entire staff understands the importance of having an equal balance between fun and effective instruction and have stood behind their ideals for 58 years. Coaches are excited and feel privileged to be able to work with these boys and girls each summer. This is evident in the high camper return rate. It is not uncommon to see parents who have attended and are now sending their children. To many families in the mid-west, these camps have become a huge tradition and part of their summer.
“I am very excited for the summer of 2020,” says Coach German. “These camps have quickly become player and parent favorites. My staff is thrilled to be able to showcase these players’ excellence, allow them to make life-long friendships and leave camp with a higher basketball IQ.
